Consider this your safe space to explore your relationship with your nightly bottle of wine.
Recover. Yourself.
Hey there, I’m
…and I help women who are stuck in the murky space of gray area drinking. It’s not just their drinking that feels gray and heavy - so does the rest of their lives. Alcohol-fueled activities have become a big part of their lives, crowding out all the things that used to bring them JOY.
Let me take a guess as to where you might be in your drinking story.
It started out in highschool. You wanted to be one of the cool kids. And, at first it was fun (okay the first time you puked), but then it was fun. Your drinking picked up speed in college. It became the thing you turned to to blow off some steam.
Twenty years later you’re still stuck in the party girl grind. Except now the party’s moved to your couch, you have two kids, a job that feels like it’s a dead-end, a never-ending to-do list, and a recycling bin that’s overflowing with wine bottles.
You’re one of the 50 million women who were born between 1965 to 1980. Otherwise known as Generation X. You were told you could have it all, and now you’re asking is this all there is.
You’re into wellness and looking after yourself. You’ve tried different eating plans, read food labels, you’re concerned about the environment and social justice. You’ve tried hot yoga, crystals, tarot cards, self-help books, seminars, retreats, but something still doesn’t feel right.
You’re holding your life together by drinking a bottle of wine, most nights of the week, alone on your couch.
From the outside things look great. You have the house, the cars, the vacations, the marriage, the kids, the degrees. But, it’s that damn bottle of wine you keep turning to every night, because you don’t know what else to do.
It’s when you hear the clink of those bottles in the bin, that you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach. Sometimes you take some of them out and put them in the trash to hide them from the other humans you live with. You know you’re drinking too much wine. You don’t even really enjoy it anymore. It’s become a bad habit you can’t figure out how to get rid of.
Alcohol has become the thing you use to relax, to celebrate, to reward yourself.
What would it take to break this cycle?
The only thing you can think of is AA, but that feels too heavy to you. You don’t see yourself in a church basement. Sipping on a styrofoam cup of coffee. Besides, your Uncle Hal went to AA meetings for decades, after he hit rock bottom and lost his job.
You cannot relate to that at all.
There is another way…
I’ve worked with so many women who are struggling with alcohol use in their lives. They bought in hard to mommy wine culture. Thinking that “rose all day” helped bring back some rebelliousness back into their lives.
And, I get it, I was a card-carrying member of that group for a long time.
This is why I created Rise UP: A 90-day exploration of your relationship with alcohol. I want to help you ditch your nightly bottle of wine, and reconnect with the parts of your life you’ve numbed for too long.
Rise UP:
A 90-day exploration of your relationship with alcohol
Here’s what you’ll gain at the end of our 90 days together:

You’re someone who is sober curious, or maybe you’ve stepped into the early stages of sobriety and are looking for some extra support, or you’ve been sober for a while, but some new things are coming up and you find yourself white knuckling
My clients come to me after they become painfully aware that they can no longer go about life in the same manner, doing the same things, catering to the same habits.
-
It says that you’ve got your shit together. That you’re looking out for yourself. That you want to heal and move forward and not get stuck in the past, holding on to a storyline that is no longer there.
-
On your call, we’ll figure out where you are in your journey, what kind of support you might need, what you already have in place. You’ll leave with the first few steps of an action plan and an idea of how you want to move forward.

I’ve set aside some time on my calendar to speak with you ASAP. It’s time to see if you can make more room in your life, if you’re ready to take that first step. Taking that first step without support and acknowledgement of what you’re going through with your drinking can be the scary part.
